J. DAVID MARKHAM has been collecting Napoleonic artifacts for a quarter of a century and his collection has been featured in several museum exhibitions. He is President Emeritus of the NHS and President of the International Napoleonic Society. He is also a Knight of the Order of the French Academic Palms.

David has authored or edited six books, including Napoleon for Dummies.
