Napoleon’s brother, Joseph, lived there for almost 20 years. The Bordentown Historical Society, led by Steven Lederman and Peter Tucci, are putting together an outstanding program. The International Napoleonic Society had a mini-Congress there in 2024 and it was a truly exceptional experience. The organizing of this conference will be a little different from the norm. We will be seeing historical sites and collections in the area and will have less time for papers. The Friday dinner will be on our own, though we can might be able to all go to the same restaurant. And Peter Tucci has graciously offered to host us in his home for the Saturday dinner. Peter has an outstanding collection of Joseph Bonaparte items, as does the Bordentown Historical Society, housed in the historical Meeting House.

We will be staying in the nearby historic city of Princeton, NJ, home to a great university and several very interesting historical sites. Princeton can be reached by Amtrac or limo from major area airports. Further details and arrangements will be forthcoming. However, given the fact that it is a football weekend we urge you to make your hotel arrangements well in advance of the conference. Two hotels will serve as our host hotels: The Nassau Inn and the Graduate by Hilton. Hotel registration information can be found below. We do not have a block of rooms reserved (due to it being a football weekend) so we urge you to make arrangements ASAP.
This promises to be a unique and outstanding conference.
